GRADE was founded in Reggio Emilia in 1989 from the bond between doctors, nurses, former patients, families and the community. Its members include ward staff, people who have lived through the illness and those who chose to stand by them.
Over the years it has grown thanks to donations, special initiatives and the support of members, volunteers, companies, artists, institutions and citizens, contributing around €12 million to the facilities of the AUSL-IRCCS of Reggio Emilia.
